Kingston Recreation Ground in Leatherhead is the newest playground project courtesy of eibe Play and Mole Valley District Council.
The £25,000 scheme proved fabulous value for money; Parks & Open Spaces Manager, Tony Wynn, was delighted with the sheer volume of equipment that was on offer. The playspace is set to entertain local children for many years to come.
The original discussions for Kingston Rec took place after eibe won the initial tender process and then took opinion from the local community group with regards to product specification. As a result, the area features a host of marvellous metal gear including a fantallica Swing, Tarzan Swing and Single Curver. The playspace is complemented by attractive rubber bonded mulch.
eibe’s managing director, Paul Redden, believes there is still a demand for robust metal equipment:
“Even though the majority of schemes we effect are wood-centric, our metal range fantallica is as popular as ever - with the added advantage that longevity is a given.”
