Meredith Making a Difference

With a school logo depicting a starfish to remind everyone that they should strive to make a positive difference every day, Meredith Infants School in North End, Portsmouth has a delightful outlook and educational ethos.

Making a difference by supporting, encouraging and inspiring others is a philosophy that resonates with eibe as a company, so we were delighted to be chosen to install one of our stand-out ships recently.

Working with Portsmouth city council’s Helen Bergin, the project eventually came to fruition after three years of hard work and fundraising. The result is the £12,000 wooden Pinta Ship that has a host of different play features and is extremely durable throughout the four seasons.

“We are so excited to launch Meredith's new boat. This boat has been paid for by all the parents who have supported us for three years by sending their children to events held by our hard working PTA team. We are grateful to all of you for creating this play space for your children.” - Mrs Lucy Carroll – Headteacher
