Situated in a picturesque village on the outskirts of Haslemere in Surrey, with an ethos of “Loving One Another”, the charming Grayswood C of E School is a delightful and progressive learning establishment. Currently expanding from an infant to a primary school, Grayswood is constantly growing and developing, taking on new challenges and initiatives such as the fabulous new playground courtesy of eibe Play.
Working alongside interim head teacher, Richard Rowe, eibe installed a unique scheme with lots of variety and novel ideas. There are several traditional play products amongst the £37,000 scheme, such as the ibondo Sofia unit and Crawling Tunnel; but the school have embraced their traditions and added a bespoke performance stage for acting and dancing lessons, as well as serving as an amphitheatre for school plays.
Other features of the new playground, installed on to bonded mulch, include a sand pit and mud kitchen, plus a quiet outdoor learning area with mirror and musical chimes. Phase 1 is now complete – we look forward to working on the second phase in the near future.
