The Easter Bunny joined the eibe team in Farnham, Surrey for the official opening of the new Crondall Park Playground. Ready for the holiday weekend, bucks fizz and hot cross buns were served to guests as children frantically ran around trying out every piece of equipment on offer. There was just enough time for the obligatory egg hunt as well!
Originally conceived in the autumn of 2014, the £95,000 project features an Aba tawa climbing unit, a Rocking helicopter, Ema pick up stick unit and Toddler and Tarzan swings. For the more active and sporty types, a Tarmac bike track with humps will keep kids amused for hours.
Crondall Parish Council’s Mary Harris was particular praiseworthy of eibe’s preferred installer Ray Jones: “Although the work has taken a little longer than planned due to the poor winter weather, it has been very successful and Ray (the contractor) and his team are to be congratulated for a job well-done – carefully! It’s a credit to their patience that the boards they placed across Hook Meadow have protected the cricket outfield and grass.”
