Set in a peaceful 36 acre site in the South Downs National Park, Amberley Museum & Heritage Centre is a year-round popular destination in West Sussex. Now, with the recent introduction of a wooden eibe train, we believe even more visitors will be flocking through the doors.
Dedicated to the industrial heritage of the South East, the museum contacted eibe as they wanted a relevant centrepiece to help educate the local children through the world of play. Liaising with Caroline Jeffery, Education Officer at the museum, eibe’s Stuart Evans suggested the Chain-linked train from our distinctive playo range. It is hoped that the equipment will reflect transport from a bygone age when trains used to move chalk around the pits in the South East.
The £1,000 product now sits splendidly outside the museum’s education centre, ready to chug off to the next drop off point!
